HOW IT WORKS.
Attach the EVject connector to the charger's head before plugging in. The EVject works with your vehicle's safety systems allowing you to stop charging, shift into Drive, and breakaway quickly, all from the security of your car.
As you drive away, the charger section detaches from the charge port. The EVject protects both your vehicle and the charger’s head as it falls. Most importantly, it protects you.

In addition, if you use the device in any emergency situation whatsoever, you can send us the footage from your camera, and we send you one free replacement. Your safety is our top priority.
Normally, EVs will not allow you to shift into drive while plugged in. The EVject solves for this problem and enables you to shift out of park while plugged in. The EVject works with your vehicle's safety systems allowing you to stop charging, shift into Drive, and breakaway quickly, all from the security of your car.
Yes, they are completely safe to touch, as the EVject system does not override the safety protocols in the manufacturer’s software. Think of it just like touching the charging contacts via the port. When the vehicle isn’t charging, this is perfectly safe.
Yes, it does! DC fast charging is the most probable time for unexpected events to occur, and EVject is built to handle that. You can still use the device at home, but we hope you won't have to run away from your house very often.
The first iteration of the EVject is currently built exclusively for NACS-enabled vehicles. However, our team is already hard at work on adapters for other EVs, including vehicles with CCS1 and CCS2 charge ports. Join our waitlist to be the first to know when additional adapters are available! If you’re interested in a specific adapter, feel free to contact us with your request. Be sure to include the make and model in your request.
Yes, you can cancel your order anytime before the shipping date. After that, we have a great return policy just in case you don’t love your new EVject (but we really think you will).
The current dimensions are 4’’ x 2.4’’ x 2.5’’. This fits very nicely alongside the standard J1772 to NACS adapter (which comes with many vehicles).
