How does it let me drive away?

Normally, EVs will not allow you to shift into Drive while plugged in. The EVject Escape Connector solves this problem and enables you to shift out of Park while plugged in. The EVject Escape Connector works with your vehicle's safety systems allowing you to stop charging, shift into Drive, and breakaway quickly, all from the security of your car.

Are the exposed contacts safe to touch?

Yes, they are completely safe to touch. The EVject Escape Connector does not override the safety protocols in the manufacturer’s software. Think of it like touching the charging contacts in the  charge port. When the vehicle isn’t charging, this is perfectly safe.

Does it support DC fast charging?

Yes, absolutely. EVject supports both AC charging (Level 2 / Type 2) and DC fast charging with CCS2 compatibility. Public DC fast charging is the most likely time for unexpected events to occur, and EVject is built to handle that. You may also use the device at home for an added layer of safety against fire, animals, or other dangers.

Is it compatible with all EVs (electric vehicles)?

Yes! EVject is coming to Europe with CCS2 compatibility.

We're developing the EVject Escape Connector specifically for European electric vehicles equipped with CCS2 charge ports (the standard used across Europe). Our CCS2-compatible version will work with both Type 2 (AC charging) and CCS2 (DC fast charging).

Compatible with most European EVs including:

Can I cancel my order before shipment?

Yes, you can cancel your order anytime before the shipping date. After that, we have a great return policy just in case you don’t love your new EVject (but we really think you will).

What are the dimensions?

The dimensions are 10.2 cm × 6.1 cm × 6.4 cm. The CCS2 version is designed to work seamlessly with European charging infrastructure.
