  • UL 2252 Safety Statement: Caution, Risk of Electric Shock and Fire. Do not use this product if there is any damage to the EV cable, the vehicle connector, or the vehicle inlet.
  • It is recommended to handle EVject and charging equipment with care until equipment cools down.
  • EVject NACS versions may get hot during some charging sessions from 0-30% on V3 Superchargers. There are no reported issues on V1, V2, or V4 Superchargers or CCS chargers.
  • EVject NACS 2.0 devices are engineered to pause the charge if the charger or charge port get too hot.
  • If this occurs, allow EVject and Supercharger to cool for a few minutes and then resume the charging session as normal.

Safety Notes

  • Do not use if any exposed metal contacts are visible, damaged, or if EVject is cracked or separated.
  • Do not manually lock or manipulate the device by manually pressing the front latch lever.
  • Do not attempt to open, service, or reassemble EVject device.
  • Do not insert fingers or other foreign objects into EVject or charging equipment.
  • Always unlock the vehicle charge port prior to shifting out of Park (in an emergency) or removing the charger cable (during regular use).
  • Always handle EVject and charging equipment with care; devices may be hot.

Emergency Replacement Guarantee

  • EVject will provide a discounted or complimentary replacement if the device is used in an actual emergency. 
  • Please contact support@evject.com if you have used your EVject for an emergency breakaway.
  • EVject reserves the right to limit the replacement guarantee if it seems anyone is taking advantage of the policy.

Warranty

  • EVject device is covered under a 24-month warranty on manufacturing defects.
  • Warranty does not cover misuse, mishandling, negligence, or modifications.
